Royal Aircraft Factory BE2c – 1:72 Scale – Airfix
The government-designed Royal Aircraft Factory BE2c was renowned for its stable flying characteristics, making it ideal as a home defence night fighter. Most famously, it achieved the first successful destruction of a German airship over Britain on 3rd September 1916. Pilot Lt. William Leefe Robinson was awarded the Victoria Cross for this action.
